Great Mache book, as all of Dan's books are!! This one is up there with one of my favorites, as I love the bat!! He dwells up in the corner of my studio all year round! Sort of a mascot and guard bat. Has great directions, as do all his books. Anyone with a wicked imagination will love this guy's stuff and want to have their own bunch of buddies sitting around the house!Susi

Great layout of simple techniques! Great looking monsters made from cheap materials!! Who could ask for more!? -) I am pleased.
I so love this guy's stuff. I can't wait to start making wacky sculpts for my Grand nephs. Over and above the fact that his instructions are easy to follow, they are a scream to read! Enjoy.
Not as in depth as his other books on paper maché, but lots of nice examples of new ways to create in this easy medium.
This is a fun book with lots of easy techniques for creating many different creatures and give you the tools for creating your own creations. Recommend for beginners but advanced designers may find a cool trick or two.
If boatloads of fun is to be had, this is the book for you. Dan Reader makes it so easy to follow and your imagination can run wild. I would recommend this book very highly.
This is actually material excerpted from a larger book of his. I highly recommend it to anyone who is only wishing to do the type of things on the cover. This book actually helped me to decide to get his other books. He has an entertaining writing style and his information is solid, and helpful.
If you know you want to really get into it (making paper mache monsters) then you could skip this one and just get a bigger one by him. But this one is good, though short. (but it's also cheap. (which is good in it's way too))
